Gepromed : A project supported by the European Union
ERDF Project 2021–2027 – Grand Est / Massif des Vosges
"Imaging and Monitoring of Implantable Medical Devices and Artificial Intelligence"
The GEPROMED project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) as part of the Grand Est and Massif des Vosges 2021–2027 program.
This strategic project aims to transform the safety and performance of implantable medical devices (IMDs) through four complementary platforms:
- Analysis of explanted IMDs: understanding material degradation to improve products.
- Clinical monitoring and traceability: structuring data for better post-implantation monitoring.
- Digital twin and training: developing advanced surgical simulation connected to the operating room.
- Partnerships & certification: integrating healthcare systems and offering new insurance services.
- Overall objective:
Reduce surgical risks, improve the quality of care, and strengthen innovation in the field of MDIs.
